Playing catchup

I’m having too much fun to blog. Posting only pictures is my lazy, catchup way to keep you traveling with me. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! Christmas in NYC has been an experience I will not forget soon. (The sad part was I missed being with my kids and grandchildren – shows the positive and negative of life.)

After Christmas dinner at the Tavern on the Green. Dessert was Baked Alaska….YUM.
Alvin Ailey dance at NY City Center. Their dances helped me know how to show emotion instead of telling or describing. Something writers always try to achieve. (Picture from website)
A bench in Central Park – a friend’s plaque, “August 2016 for Tim’s 50th and to our family and friends who have or will visit NYC, enjoy! Tim Contado & Ann Duignan” Finding it was like a treasure hunt.
Cal giving $5.00 to a homeless man. He had $200.00 to share – sweet holiday giving.
Italian cooking class at Sur La Table. Such great teachers, and the food we cooked was delicious, especially the polenta.
Bubble Man street performer. He made it look so easy. He only had a bucket of soapy water and string attached to two sticks.
Theater, A Colored Girls Quilt on 46th street. Delightful story of the value of women quilting, and how each quilt has a story of it’s own.
Argosy Book Store since 1925. First Edition Dickens’ books…a thrill to touch. There was also a Dicken’s display at the NY Public Library:)
