Well…here we are again; another shooting seemingly prompted by the lack of control over political emotions.
I am sick and tired of our immaturity. Let’s all grow up and stop our personal rage. Change begins with each of us: YOU and ME.
I don’t want a civil war. I don’t want brothers fighting brothers; neighbors killing neighbors; families estranged.
Starting today, I am blocking anyone from Facebook who posts politically disparaging messages about Obama, Trump, Ryan, Pelosi, as well as sexual orientation and ethnicity. I’m done. I’m really done!
I hope many of you join my concern and share with your friends. We might not make a huge difference, but a small change can have a huge influence on the thoughts and actions of someone who is full of fear, emotionally unstable, and/or furious.
Trying to get attention or entice support for negative and hateful opinions absolutely contributes to the bellowing of hate. STOP has to start somewhere — it might as well be right here, right now!
Let’s do what WE can. YOUR actions and MY actions matter, especially within families and throughout social media.
We all have the ability to bite our tongues and exchange our baby bonnets for smart hats.
